Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Soma Mockup Studio (“Soma”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar storage technologies on the website at somamockups.studio (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

1. Introduction

We keep our use of cookies and storage deliberately minimal. We use only what we need to make the Service work and to remember your session. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you, to follow you across other websites, or to serve advertising.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which let a site keep small amounts of data in your browser. Together these allow a site to function correctly and to remember information between page loads or visits.

Cookies can be described in a few ways. Session storage lasts only until you close your browser, while persistent storage remains for a set period. First party storage is set by the site you are visiting, while third party storage is set by another domain.

3. How we use cookies and storage

We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage to run the Service. Examples of what they let us do include:

  • remembering your in progress generation session;
  • remembering the state of the waitlist form so it behaves correctly;
  • supporting the secured /generate area, which uses HTTP basic authentication that your browser manages and stores for the duration of your session;
  • keeping the Service secure and delivering it reliably.

4. The categories we use

Strictly necessary. These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off through our interface. They do not store information that identifies you for marketing purposes. This is the only category we currently use.

We do not use performance, functional preference, analytics, or advertising cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting any non essential cookies.

5. Third party cookies

Some of the providers we rely on to deliver the Service may set essential cookies needed for their part of the service to work. In particular, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our form handling provider (Formspree) may set cookies that are necessary to deliver content and to process form submissions securely. These providers handle that data under their own privacy and cookie policies.

6. No advertising or tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third party advertising or tracking networks to set cookies through the Service. We do not sell data collected through cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and describe what we use and how you can control it.

Strictly necessary cookies and storage are used on the basis that they are essential to provide the Service you have requested, so they do not require your consent. If we ever introduce non essential cookies, we will rely on your consent and provide a way for you to give or withdraw it.

8. Managing and disabling cookies

You can control and delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies, delete existing ones, and be warned before new ones are set. The help pages of your browser explain how to do this for your specific version.

Because the cookies and storage we use are strictly necessary, blocking or deleting them may break parts of the Service, for example the secured /generate area or your in progress session.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or the law. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
